The frequency of the bug is given by the number of revolutions completed per second:
[tex]f= \frac{N}{t}= \frac{12 rev}{1 s}=12 s^{-1} = 12 Hz [/tex]

The angular velocity is related to the frequency by the following relationship:
[tex]\omega=2 \pi f[/tex]
And using f=12 Hz, we can find the angular velocity of the bug:
[tex]\omega = 2 \pi (12 Hz)=75.36 rad/s[/tex]
