In Thomas Malthusian Theory its weaknesses is that theory is not true. The truth is if the population grow continuously the resources will also grow and then the needed resources would also grow and either one of them will exceed or would maintain their balance.  While the weaknesses of Demographic Transition theory is based on the experience of countries that is industrialized this forget that a develop country is through a tourist industry.
