Zygomycota produce ZYGOSPORES which germinate into new hyphae.
Zygospores are thick-walled resting cells that are created by the nuclear fusion of haploid cells or when similar gametes diffuse. These belong to certain groups of fungi and algae. Zygomycota, Ascomycota and Basidiomycota ,they all reproduce sexually.
