writing big notes down on notecards then going threw them makes it easier
make flash cards and have a friend over, then quiz each other. that's how i studied for my APUSH exam. if your friend can't come over, both of you make a set of flashcards and quiz each other over the phone. alternatively, make yourself a quiz of the hardest material and take it.
