Bełzec, Sobibor and Treblinka had gas chambers, built for purpose to kill Jews (implementing the secretive Operation Reinhard, the plan to completely destroy Polish Jews). Construction of Belzec, Sobibor and Treblinka began in autumn 1941. Approximately 1,5 million Jews were killed in this three camps.
