4 and 5/6 minus 2 and 1/6. first you would take the whole numbers of 4 and two and subtact them from each other to get 2. next you would make sure the fractions are the same denomenator which they are so you can just subtract them so the final answer is 2 4/6 or 2 and 2/3 if need to be simplified
