The instructions for growth and development are in DNA. It is compose of molecules which is called nucleotides. Each nucleotide includes a phosphate group, a sugar group and a nitrogen base. There are four types of nitrogen bases. There are adenine (A), thymine (T), guanine (G) and cytosine (C). The order of these bases is what determines DNA's instructions, or genetic code.
