In y = mx + b form, the slope will be in the m position and the y int will be in the b position

y = 6x - 5.....the slope is 6. A parallel line will have the same slope

with a y int of 7....

y = 6x + 7 <===
parallel lines have same slope so the required equation will be  y = 6x + something   ( 6 is the slope)

the something is the y intercept which is 7

So its A
