A particular home site of necessity has environmental advantages and disadvantages. For example, the direction the home is facing decides how much sunshine it will receive ie and this is an important consideration where it is planned to grow a garden, flower and/or vegetable. If the home is high up on the hill/mountainside in the temperate climate it can have snow longer than down in the valley or at sea level, even though it may have a much better view.
