During the renaissance people stopped believing so heavily in the Bible and the Pope and started looking at the real facts like the sun rotates around the earth. People experimented with anything like painting and fine sculptures. Also scholars started taking up Latin. Some bad characteristics are violence especially in Italy wheee the nobel houses kept fighting. Hope this helps :)
