Jessica ran further ince 4km is equivalent to 4000 meters, whereas Kristy only ran 700 meters. This is why Jessica ran more!
In order to compare the distances, we have to change them into one type of unit, 
so, 4 Km = 4,000 m

We know,4,000 > 700

In short, Jessica ran more than Kristy
