The slope can be found with
m = y2 - y1             So -11 is y2, -6 is y1  | x2 is 2, x1 is -6
       ---------
       x2 - x1

m =  -11 - (-6)
          ---------  =   -5 / -5 =  -1
         2   -  7

slope is -1
