Can’t figure this fraction equation. 5/6 is the fraction getting divided by 2. Answer must be in the simplest form

Solution:

5/6 divided by 2, i.e.

[tex]\frac{5}{6}\div2[/tex]

Applying the fraction rule

[tex]\begin{gathered} \frac{a}{b}\div \frac{c}{d}=\frac{a}{b}\times \frac{d}{c} \\ =\frac{5\times\:1}{6\times\:2} \\ =\frac{5}{6\times\:2} \\ =\frac{5}{12} \end{gathered}[/tex]

Hence, the answer is 5/12
