1. In this instance, we need to understand the meaning of what a function is . " A function is a relation in which each possible input value leads to exactly one output value"

So q is a function of t since each value of q , gives rise to exactly one output of q=F(t)

2. t is not a function of q , since the values of t determines the function F(t), only F(t) = q .

( extra notes : the input value of t has several ( two or more ouput, therefore not a function)
