A certain color of orange paint requires 5 parts yellow paint and 8 parts red paint. how many quarts of red paint do you need if you are using 30 quarts of yellow?

I think you would need 48 quarts of red. The way I see it, it is a ratio of 5:8 and the current ratio is 30:x. Divide 30 by 5 to get 6, and the multiple 8 by 6 to get the new part of the ratio
