minced green chilies, chipotle in adobo sauce, grated onion, shredded cheese, etc. These would all add moisture to your cornbread.
First I’ve never heard of someone putting sour cream in jiffy cornbread so I would just follow the box put sour cream in sounds like some nasty white people stuff
