Answer:

let the number be x

we have Take away 6 from 7/2 of the number. The result is 22

so ,7x/2 - 6 = 22

7x/2 = 22 + 6

7x/2 = 28

x = 28*2/7

x = 4*2

x=8

Hence the number is 8.
