f(1/2) means to replace any and all x's in f(x) with (1/2)
This means:
f(1/2) = ((2*(1/2) + 3)^1/2)/(6(1/2) - 5)
Simplify
f(1/2) = ((4)^(1/2))/(-2) = 2/-2 = -1
