y=mx+b
m=slope
b=y-intercept

Data:
m=4
b=-3

Then:
y=mx+b
y=4x-3

answer: y=4x-3

y = 4x -3

The formula for a line is y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. When you get a question such as the one you asked, simply plug in the numbers with the corresponding values and you will have your equation.
