The number you're going to find the percentage, you multiply by the percentage that you interest and divide by 100.
Ex. How much is 25% of 40?
- The number that I'll get the percentage is 40 and the percent that I interest is 25%.
40 X 25 = 1000
then divide by 100
1000 ÷ 100 = 10
eg What is 30% of 80?
80 X 30 = 2400
2400 ÷ 100 = 24
