For this case we have that the initial amount of money is:

[tex]M_ {1}=24[/tex]

If you spend[tex]\frac {3} {5}[/tex] of your money we have that left:

[tex]M_ {2}=\frac {3} {5} * 24 = \frac {72} {5} = 14.4[/tex]

So, after lunch he has $ 14.4 left.

Then Robert spent [tex]\frac{1}{6}[/tex]on snack and juice, so we have:

[tex]M_ {3} = \frac {1}{6}*14.4=2.4[/tex]

Finally, Robert returned with $ 2.4

Answer:

$ 2.4
