We have expression for discharge, Q = Area ( A) x Velocity (v)

Velocity , v = 3 m/s

[tex]\texttt{Area, A}=\frac{\pi d^2}{4}=\frac{\pi \times (10\times 10^{-2})^2}{4}=7.85\times 10^{-3}m^2[/tex]

Substituting

  Discharge, Q =Av = 7.85 x 10⁻³ x 3 = 0.024 m³/s  

Volumetric flow rate = 0.024 m³/s
