9=3(x+2)

You have to mutiply 3 to x and 2 so you would then get,

Subtracts 6 from 9 and 6

3=3x

Divide 3 by 3 and 3x

The value of x = 1.

How to simplify an algebraic expression?

Given:

9 = 3(x + 2)

simplifying the above equation, then we get

9 = 3x + 6

Subtracts 6 from both sides of th equation, then

9 - 6 = 3x + 6 - 6

Divide 3 by both sides of the equation, then we get

3x / 3 = 3 / 3

1 = x

Therefore, the value of x = 1.
