Answer: 180 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

You  calculate the surface area of the prism as following:

1- The surface area of both right triangles:

[tex]SA_{t}=2(\frac{b*h}={2}= 2(\frac{12cm*5cm}{2})=60cm^{2}[/tex]

(The sum of the surface area of both triangles).

2- The surface area of the rectangles:

[tex]SA_1=5cm*4cm=20cm^{2}\\SA_2=4cm*13cm=52cm^{2}\\SA_3=12cm*4cm=48cm^{2}[/tex]

3. Add all the areas.

The result is:

[tex]SA=60cm^{2}+20cm^{2}+52cm^{2}+48cm^{2}=180cm^{2}[/tex]
