Any number times 100% will equal itself.

Let's say you were trying to find out what 100% of 2,000 was. The answer would be 2,000. You'd have to divide 100% by 100 to make it multipliable. 100 divided by 100 is 1. This means in any scenario, the answer would always be the number being multiplied by 100%.

I hope this helps!
