Multiply out the brackets:
4x - 1/4 > 12 - 2x

Add 2x to both sides:
6x - 1/4 > 12

Add 1/4 to both sides:
6x > 12 1/4

Divide both sides by 6:
x > 2.04

Change to a fraction form, therefore the answer is B
