it allows every member involved to voice their own opinion and choice making it a fair decision for all

It’s important to use a democratic method of putting people into office because it gives the people a voice as to who controls the government (who works the best for them). Without this system, leaders would be wildly unpopular and would also feel no need to contribute to their people.
