Factoring:

FOIL (first, outer, inner, last) method

(a+b)(c+d) = 0

ac+ad+bc+bd = 0

Zeros:

(x+a)(x+b) = 0

x+a = 0, x= 0-a

x+b = 0, x= 0-b
