What is the result when 8x+3 is subtracted from-2x+5

yes thats correct . it equals 10x+2

instead of subtracting 2 the negaitve cancels out making it postive allowing you not to subtract but add instead thus getting 10 x and you subtract 3 from to get 2 . so you should have 10x+2
